Michelin Slave ” Poised to meet the maker”
Michelin Slave ( formerly STRAITJAKKET)
This experience was the most epic journey of my life. We toured for years and years in the States and Canada. Paid our dues and starved just to play.
We played clubs from Northern Quebec to CBGB’s in NYC to Miami Florida.
This album was recorded in 1990 -91 at Metalworks studios in about 4 months. It sounds best when cranked to 12!
I felt the music was before its time and we toured our asses off. The experience I gained with these guys over 300 shows per year and endless hours in the studio was priceless. I still keep in touch with these amazing people and they all have become amazing in their fields. They are like brothers to me and I love them very much. The times we went through, the amazing shows and tours and the challenges we faced can never be recreated or taken away.
Julius Butty : Vocals and sequencing
Kevin O’Kane : Bass
Terry D’Andrea : Guitar
Brent Neimi : Drums
John Ball : Guitar
Scott Murray was on drums for a few tracks after I left also. Please note I did not record Stone Figure or Knives and Glass.
